Magis

Magis is the jesuit value of striving to do better. The “more” refers to doing more, being more, and achieving more than what one had originally anticipated.¹

Fairfield University views education as a life-long process. Students will be learning far more and for far longer than they had originally expected. The university “[…] seeks to foster in its students a continuing intellectual curiosity and a desire for self-education which will extend to the broad range of areas to which they have been introduced in their studies.”² As a Fairfield University student, I have been able to do more because of the extensive opportunities that have been afforded to me.
